A glowing review from one of the top food blogs in the country. We <3 you back Spoon U!
"They also serve honey boba that is delicious AF. They slow cook the boba every 90 minutes and serve it fresh. Most boba tea shops serve you leftover boba...They do not do that at Toastea and it makes a BIG difference you can taste"
"Their toasts are not just any old slice of bread...I indulged in their caramel apple pie and I nearly had an orgasm because I did not expect it to be that damn good"
Aww shucks, you think we're cute?! We think you're pretty cute too Eater LA -- thanks for the shout-out!
"Well this place looks absolutely adorable with a clean, cavernous hideaway in the heart of DTLA. Toastea, a quite aptly named new tea house specializing in, you guessed it, toast and tea, has opened near 7th and Grand. Patrons can build their own refreshment here, selecting their tea base before adding in a variety of flavors and toppings. Those feeling a little hungry can satisfy sweet cravings with one of four milk bread toast options that can be enjoyed on a cute-as-hell astroturf seating area."
One of the first posts welcoming us to the neighborhood. Thanks for documenting how it all began Brigham!
"A new independent boba tea shop called Toastea is coming soon to 7th Street opening adjacent to the Rite Aid store. What makes this particularly exciting for me is the commercial space Toastea will be taking over, which has sat vacant (unactivated) for possibly decades."
"They will be turning the 1,100 square foot space into a modern and inviting hang out spot that will add to the growing love downtowners have for Taiwanese boba."
